1. The Service

Furra ("Furra", "we", "us") operates a web-based Service that helps pet owners organize pet wellness information, records, reminders, and optional shareable health profiles through our website and related web-based features, including optional, owner-initiated sharing.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

2. Your account

To use Furra, you must create an account. You agree to:

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Furra is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

3. Beta program

The Furra Service is currently in private beta. This means:

Beta users: by participating in the beta, you acknowledge that you are using pre-release software and agree to provide feedback in good faith. We sincerely value your input — it shapes what Furra becomes.

We will notify beta users with reasonable advance notice before introducing paid features, and will clearly disclose any fees before charging you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all health records, documents, and data you upload to Furra ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant Furra a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use identifiable Your Content to train general-purpose AI models without your explicit consent. We use Your Content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not infringe the rights of third parties and is lawful to share.

6. Medical disclaimer

Furra is not a veterinary service. The information, insights, and reminders provided by Furra are for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Furra does not replace your veterinarian. It helps you organize and better understand your pet's health history over time.

Always consult a qualified, registered veterinarian for any health concerns about your pet. Do not delay or disregard professional veterinary advice based on anything you read or receive through the Furra Service.

Furra's behavioral insights and wellness scores are based on data you provide. Their accuracy depends entirely on the quality and consistency of your inputs. They are not a substitute for clinical examination.

Furra is not designed for emergency or urgent veterinary situations. If your pet may require urgent medical attention, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not rely on Furra in an emergency.

7. AI features and insights

Furra may provide AI-assisted insights, summaries, reminders, wellness indicators, or organizational recommendations based on the information you upload and activity you record within the Service.

These features are intended to support awareness and organization only. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate in some circumstances and should not be relied upon as veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You remain responsible for evaluating any information provided through the Service and seeking professional veterinary care where appropriate.

We may improve and refine AI-assisted features over time. Furra does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

8. Health profile sharing

When you choose to share a portable health profile for your pet with vets, groomers, carers, or others:

Recipients of shared profiles are not Furra users by virtue of receiving a shared profile. They receive a read-only view only.

9. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Furra Service — including the website, branding, design, and underlying software — belongs to Furra or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any IP rights to you.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to legal, security, backup, and legitimate business retention needs.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. Where possible, we will give you an opportunity to remedy the breach before taking action.

On termination, the sections relating to medical disclaimers, AI features, intellectual property, limitation of liability, data export and deletion, dispute resolution, and governing law continue to apply.

12. Data export and deletion

You may request an export of personal data associated with your account by contacting privacy@furra.app. Furra will respond within 30 days or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Account deletion and related removal or de-identification of personal data and pet health records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including retention exceptions for security, legal, backup, and legitimate business purposes, and the possibility that aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data may be retained as permitted there.

13. Dispute resolution and arbitration

For users in the United States, you and Furra agree to resolve any disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us at legal@furra.app and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.

Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and will take place in Delaware. Each party is responsible for their own legal fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.

Users outside the United States retain the right to bring disputes in the courts of their local jurisdiction to the extent required by applicable consumer protection law.

14. Governing law

Subject to the arbitration provision above, these Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent a dispute may be heard in court (for example, where arbitration does not apply or where injunctive relief is sought as permitted in Section 13), courts in Delaware may have jurisdiction as permitted by law.

If you are a consumer resident outside the United States, you may have additional rights under your local laws that these terms cannot override.
